A film titled, 'Fish by the million brings silver lining' shows people in large number catching Smelt on the banks of river Columbia at Kelso in Washington. People use fishing nets to catch Smelt during a record run and collect them in containers,sacks and boxes to earn a living.
A film titled, 'Surplus farm stuffs make new motor fuel' shows factories manufacturing fuel from corn behind a railway yard in Peoria, Illinois. Huge heaps of corn in farms. A man fills car gas tank with fuel made from corn (ethanol). At the gas station or filling station, a man puts fuel in his car. A banner on the back of the car reads that it is alcohol from grain mixed with Gasoline and "Works fine, Use it!". Final scene shows a car being driven wildly, at high speed, skidding from side to side, going off road and onto a grassy area, and then back onto the road.
A film titled 'Invents model marine diver' shows a man with miniature model scuba diver with diving suit and air supplying apparatus for use in tank tests and demonstration in Washington D.C. Developed by Chief gunner's mate G.F. Boone at Navy yard. Two men put the diver attached with strings in water and pull it out in a while.

A film titled 'Farmers use corn for fuel' shows a farmer W.H. Wood as he attaches horses to his car at a farm in Courtney in Missouri. He has no money to buy gasoline for his car. Horses pull the car. After going further, the car stops Wood gets down and feed corn to the horses and moves to the bushel.
