They fire their machine guns (two nose-mounted and two in each wing). Next, about 15 or more are seen in loose formation. A group of U.S. Army officers, seated at a stand on the banks of a waterway, watch as a group of P-40s fly past, at low altitude. Small boats are seen in the water near pilings and a decrepit dock. A large, loose formation of P-40s flies past, in flights of three, stacked vertically. (At this point sound of the aircraft can be heard.) Two more large formations of P-40s fly past. Then individual P-40s are seen following one another at large intervals. They fly low over the camera site. Scene changes to P-40s flying over a Curtiss Aircraft factory building. Johnson delivers speech about Vietnam at a news conference on July 28, 1965, in which he states,among other things, "Three times in my lifetime...Americans have gone to far lands to fight for freedom..." as he explains U.S. involvement in Vietnam and the Vietnam War.
