Flames and heavy smoke rises up amongst storage tanks and facilities. Several Helmeted German soldiers are seen silhouetted against the flames as they make their way through the area.

Romanians commence cleanup after attacks by U.S. 15th Air Force bombers in Ploesti (Ploiesti) during World War 2. Workers shovel building debris from rails in front of a train station. A locomotive pulls a train into a platform on which the entire roof has been destroyed. A group of Romanian workers carrying shovels and other implements, walks along a section of track past destroyed structures.They work to straighten rails and remove portions of buildings and other debris from the tracks. One uses a cutting torch to release a huge piece of reinforced concrete, which is then raised up by a crane. Workers are busy all over the area in the cleanup activities. Several men inspect damage to a locomotive.
