They form up abreast to create a battery and fire their guns. View shifts to USMC M50 A1 "Ontos" (Rifle, Multiple 106 mm, Self-propelled, M50). It parks and fires its guns. Next are seen advanced field artillery weapons being fired, including the XM70 Towed Multiple Rocket Launcher and the "Honest John" (Artillery Rocket XM31).
U.S. Navy and Marines engaged in live fire amphibious assault exercise. Explosions on beach as Navy and Marine aircraft fly overhead and a wave of landing craft carrying marines approaches. Next, the landing craft arrive at the beach and marines storm ashore and proceed over hills and rough terrain toward their objective. Numerous views of Marines charging over sand berms. Armor and vehicles being driven from landing craft through the surf.
