The train is then seen moving with the men inside the box cars waving as they proceed to begin military service for World War I.

The wife of the Ambassador christens and launches the tanker ship, but the bottle tossed against the ship hull fails to break. It is recalled by an attached rope and, on the second try, the bottle breaks and the super tanker ship is launched. People cheer. Vehicular traffic includes cars, two-wheelers, and cycle-rickshaws. Many Vietnamese civilians enter a Buddhist temple. Buddhist Vietnamese lighting incense sticks.
