The third Kennedy-Nixon Presidential Debate in the United States. Roscoe Drummond of New York Herald Tribune asks Republican candidate U.S. Vice President Richard M Nixon to comment on declining economic growth and what steps he would take to improve it. Nixon answers that he is not satisfied with the economic growth of the U.S. He compares the nation's growth rate during the Truman Administration and the Eisenhower Administration. He urges for the development of private enterprise sector of the economy. He talks about his program of tax reform which would stimulate more investment in U.S. economy. He talks about the upliftment of the distressed areas and full utilization of resources of those areas. He talks about the adequate use of talents of the Americans and their civil rights. He concludes and states that there has been a continuous development of American economy in the past years. Democratic candidate Senator John F Kennedy states that Nixon has pointed a rise in food prices in his proposed agricultural program which is not true. He comments on the statement given by Nixon on aiding distressed areas and education. He says that the bills of these program have been opposed by the administration. He talks about the lowest rate of economic growth during this administration.

Johnson and King Faisal with other dignitaries in a conference. King Faisal arrives at the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia, where Saudi and American flags fly. He is greeted by the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to the United States, Ambassador Ibrahim bin Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah Al Suwaiyel, and the embassy staff. The King receives guests at the embassy, including William Averell Harriman, an American diplomat and 48th Governor of New York. Ambassador Al Suwaiyel accompanies King Faisal in greeting the guests. Guests are identified by narrator in Arabic. President Johnson arrives by car and is greeted and escorted into the embassy. Orchestra plays "Hail to the Chief." Berlin Crisis: The Western Powers respond to threats from the Soviet Union
Opening scene shows the Rathaus Schöneberg (John-F.-Kennedy-Platz, 10825 Berlin, Germany) where Mayor of Berlin Willy Brandt addresses a large crowd of West Berlin citizens, concerned about the building of the Berlin Wall by the Soviet Union. Many carry placards and signs, including some in English, reading: "We trust Kennedy, Pay any price, Bear any burden, for survival of Liberty" and "Millions behind the Iron Curtain ask for help." Scene shifts to a limousine driving into the center of a crowd. United States Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson steps from the car, accompanied by General Lucius D. Clay, who is seen next, with arm raised, acknowledging the crowd, while standing with Johnson and Brandt, at a podium cluttered with microphones. (Narrator refers to him as "Father of the Airlift.") The next day, British and American soldiers are seen driving in jeeps and trucks and M59 Armored Personnel Carriers, through cheering crowds, as they arrive to reinforce their Berlin garrisons.
