A navy training program in the U.S. teaches the sailors methods of attack and counterattack of hand to hand combat. Two sailors demonstrate prone defense against kicks using the leg scissors method. One of the sailors advances to kick another who lies on the ground. As he comes closer the prone sailor swings his leg, locks his leg behind the attacker's knee causing him to topple over. He then rolls up on the assailant and uses his body pressure to control him. (World War II period).
Sailors learn methods of attack and counterattack of hand to hand combat during a training program of the Navy in the United States. Two sailors demonstrate how to disarm an assailant with pistol in back using the outside turn. One sailor who poses as the assailant points a pistol in the back of another who raises his hands. The other sailor disarms him using the outside turn. Next they demonstrate how to disarm an assailant with pistol in back using the inside turn. (World War II period).

A cold rainy evening in Germany. Two U.S. Army jeeps enter the courtyard of a building in the vicinity of Bleialf, being used as a headquarters, by VIII Corps. Lieutenant General George S. Patton, Commander, U.S. 3rd Army, accompanied by staff members, steps from his jeep and ascends steps of the building, where an officer holds the door for him. A dog also greets him on the top step. Later, General Patton is seen leaving the building, followed by a Major General. An officer from the building sees them off, informally. He wears the insignia of VIII Corps on his uniform sleeve.
Six B-17 Flying Fortresses in flight from Washington,DC, United States to Buenos Aires, Argentina. One is seen above snow-capped mountain. The American goodwill squadron brings a message of peace from the U.S. President. They are feted by the Argentines. A parade with Argentine soldiers on motorbikes and the U.S. B-17s flying overhead. Honor guard of Argentine soldiers stand on the street, as U.S. Ambassador and American and Argentine dignitaries ride in an open carriage. Scene shifts to the return of the B-17s as they are greeted on Langley Air Field, Virginia.
