A navy training program in the U.S. teaches the sailors methods of attack and counterattack of hand to hand combat. Two sailors demonstrate prone defense against kicks using the leg scissors method. One of the sailors advances to kick another who lies on the ground. As he comes closer the prone sailor swings his leg, locks his leg behind the attacker's knee causing him to topple over. He then rolls up on the assailant and uses his body pressure to control him. (World War II period).
