Half raised flags in the procession. Soviet leaders Nicholas Bukharin, Stalin, General Klement E Voroshilov, Mikhail Kalinin, General Mikhail V Frunze and others walk with the casket of Lenin. People assemble to pray at the prayer organized at a church. Three Russian naval vessel fire a three minute salute. Cannons of ship fired one after the other.
U.S. President Richard Nixon in Moscow, Russia. A chandelier in a hall. Dignitaries and officials walk into the hall. President Nixon and USSR President Nikolaj V. Podgorny walk down the stairs of the hall. Both the leaders sit at a table. One official stands by and assists each President. The Presidents sign an agreement. Officials stand behind the Presidents.
A ceremony of Swearing In at the U.S. Capitol on the Inauguration Day, Washington DC. U.S. President Nixon, Vice President Agnew and other dignitaries seated in inauguration stand. Senator Cook announces on a microphone at the podium. He introduces Dr E V Hill. Dr Hill gives an invocation. President Nixon shakes hands with him as he walks back. The Marine band plays inaugural fanfare. Speaker Cook introduces Rabbi Seamore to the audience. Seamore gives prayer.
A welcoming crowd gathered outside in a light rain, awaiting arrival of President and Mrs. Nixon to witness the launch of the Apollo-12 moon mission. Hazy view of the Saturn V, SA-507, on launch pad LC 39 A. A helicopter lands carrying advance party of White House staff and others, who quickly exit and walk along a roped corridor through the waiting crowd. Secret Service agents in tan rain coats patrol the pathway. Moments later, Marine One, the helicopter carrying the Presidential party, lands. The crowd stands close to the helicopter as Pat Nixon steps from it, followed by President Nixon and their daughter, Patricia. The President and First Lady immediately begin mingling with people lined up against the ropes, under watchful eyes of Secret Service agents.

The President chats with others in the stands. A light rain is falling. The President converses with an Army Sergeant. Mrs. Pat Nixon and daughter Patricia join the President in the stands. Many umbrellas are held aloft to shield the Nixons. Attention of the crowd is focused as the Saturn V rocket ignites and the Apollo 12 mission is launched. The rocket soon disappears in the clouds. But the crowd remains attentive (presumably as the roar of the rocket continues to reverberate). In a short while, the crowd begins to disperse.

A crowd in New York Times Square celebrates Victory in Europe Day (V-E Day). People pray in a church. U.S. President Harry S Truman announces the German surrender.
