Next, Soviet Lieutenant General Vasily Chuikov, advisor to Chinese Generalissimo Chiang Kai-Shek, steps from a building, smoking a cigarette. He is accompanied by a Chinese officer. Immediately, they are joined by another Soviet General (also smoking a cigarette). The three converse, while standing next to staff cars. Several Chinese officers bid Chuikov farewell and he gets ready to enter a car in the foreground.
