Circassians (also known as Cherkas or Cherkess) soldiers are sent by the Russian Empire to fight Ottoman Empire troops during the Caucasus Campaign of World War 1. Soldiers from the Russian Empire, dressed in thick overcoats and fur hats, wait on the snowy plain. Behind the soldiers are various military supplies, vehicles and artillery.
