Soldiers from Company B of the U.S. Army 503rd Parachute Infantry Regiment compete in a downhill slalom race as a celebratory exercise marking the completion of six weeks of intensive ski training in Alta, Utah. A variety of angles show men speeding down the course, clocked by an instructor at the finish line. The scene changes to a small group of soldiers, in full jump gear, standing beside a Douglas C-47 Skytrain aircraft. During World War 2.
