Demonstration of bayonet qualification course, narrator describes action during film. Soldier lays prone on the ground at the starting line, hops to his feet at the instructor's command. The soldier runs through the course, approaching each of eight different dummies and performing the required parries and thrusts. At the finish line, the soldier simulates firing his rifle at two distant targets, and an instructor clocks his time. The soldier and instructors walk back toward the start through the field of dummies. Pre WW2.
