AEF Artillery tractor training in France during World War I

American Expeditionary Forces (AEF) engaged in Artillery tractor training (possibly at the Tractor School for Field Artillery at Le Blanc, France) during World War 1. Several model 75 Holt tractors, with covers and tiller wheels, are seen moving in single file across a training field in France during World War I. Each carries two soldiers plus a driver. An officer stands observing as they move past. Each driver stands at the controls. Next, a tractor, with only a driver on board, maneuvers as it tows a 155mm gun and caisson. Another one also towing a gun, is seen behind it. Scene shifts to a tractor climbing up a steep incline. At the top, its tiller wheel is high off the ground and it balances there until more forward movement allows it to fall to the ground. (World War I; World War 1; WWI; WW1)
