General Eisenhower makes inspection tour of Italian and American Air Force units at Wiesbaden Airfield, Germany
Operation Jupiter, Wiesbaden Germany. A motorcade of U.S. Army staff cars drives along the edge of the Airbase at wiesbaden, Germany. A USAF C-47 aircraft is parked nearby. Next, military officers are seen, from behind, walking toward large white tents pitched on the airfield grounds. General Dwight D. Eisenhower is recognizable, walking rapidly, with American and Italian officers. The most senior American officer in the accompanying group is USAF Major General Truman H. Landon, Deputy commander-in-chief and chief of staff for U.S. Air Forces Europe (USAFE). He seems content to stay pretty much in the background during the tour. Three Italian fliers are seen in closeup, standing in front of an Italian de Havilland DH-100 Vampire aircraft. They come to attention as General Eisenhower approaches. He shakes their hands and speaks with them. Italian and American officers huddle around him as he continues speaking with the Italian fliers. Eisenhower and his entourage walk through a line of parked Italian DH-100s and he speaks with several more Italian aircrews. Still moving at a brisk pace, Eisenhower crosses to a bivouac area of large brown tents, that he inspects. His principal tour guide from this point on is USAF Colonel George Laven, Commander, of the 86th Fighter-Bomber Wing. The group then crosses to an area paved with Marsden matting (Pierced steel planking) where several F-84E aircraft of the USAF 527th Fighter-Bomber Squadron (86th Fighter-Bomber Wing) are parked. Eisenhower stops to speak with a pilot and two airmen standing in front of one of the planes and continues on to meet several more.

Liberty Loan bond drive parade in Richmond, Virginia, during World War 1. The parade uses half the street with traffic moving on the other half. Spectators line the center of the roadway as well as the sidewalk. Military cadets parade followed by U.S. army soldiers with military equipment from the "Liberty Loan Train." A Holt tractor pulls a heavy artillery piece followed by a small contingent of soldiers. They are followed by two Holt tractors and a mobile searchlight. Several army trucks bring up the rear of the parade. The State capitol building is in the background. An equestrian statue and monument is prominent on the capitol grounds. A 250 foot model of a battleship is center of attention for Navy recruitment and Victory loan Drive, in Union Square, New york City. Women Navy Yeomen (F) of the U.S. Navy Reserve, line the decks of the "ship." People are walking around the ship during the entire time. The women yeomen wave to the crowd. A large sign above reads: "Men wanted for U.S. Navy, apply here." Sign on the stern reads: "Speed the Navy's Victory Loan Ship to victory..." and advertises a Victory Loan Show, to be held April 21, 1919. On the ship's top deck, a yeoman(F) types at a telegraph machine,as another turns a cros-shaped signal. Several yeomen (F) pose on the deck, nearby. William Penn Way, in the center of Pittsburgh, is jammed with women preparing to participate in the 4th Liberty Loan Drive in that city. Sign for a business establishment, named Thompson's, is seen. In another scene a banner identfying the Naval Recruiting Station, hangs above the crowd. A view looking down from a building overlooking the scene, shows women seated at long tables streching across the street, from curb to curb, for a so-called "Trench Breakfast." Other women move between the lines of tables, to serve. After the breakfast, several speakers stand on the tables and deliver motivating talks to the women, Among those seen are a U.S. Navy Commander; U.S. Army Captain, Walter Richard Flannery (who was decorated with fhe Distinguished Service Cross for heroism in the Battle of the Marne); Navy Secretary Josephus Daniels; and Alexander P. Moore, Publisher and editor of the Pittsburgh Leader newspaper. Change of scene shows dense crowd filling street.
