The other sailor puts one of his arms beneath the shoulder of the attacker, passes his other arm beneath the attacker's neck to lock it and delivers a kick to the opponent. Next they demonstrate the Arm drag. The second sailor uses one of his arms to hold the wrist and secures the elbow of the opponent with his other arm. He stamps on the foot of the attacker and drags at his arms which cause both to fall. Now they demonstrate Leg pick up. The second sailor grasps both the legs of the attacker just above his knees, raises him, holds him and drops him on the floor. (World War II period).

As the assailant approaches the sailor with a knife, he grips the wrist of the assailant with both his hands, forces his hand back, delivers a knee lift in the groin, bends the wrist and causes the knife to fall down. Next they demonstrate defense against side thrust with knife. As the assailant approaches with a knife, the sailor grips his wrist and secures his arm under the shoulder and bends causing the assailant and the knife to drop. He picks it up. Club is used for defense against knife. As the assailant attacks with a knife, the sailor uses a club to break the attack and jabs the assailant in the stomach with the club. (World War II period).

Men take pictures. The Vice President and Mrs. Johnson are taken by car to a large aircraft hangar facility where they are greeted by managers and workers. President Johnson shakes hand with an official and workers as he enters the facility. He is escorted by the official. People holding posters welcome the Vice President. Johnson addresses the assembled employees. Lady Bird Johnson also addresses the workers. People applaud. Signs inside the facility read: VTOL mockup, and XC-142, AF Serial No. 5921 A. The aircraft is shown in the hangar. A sign reads 'No Admittance --Demonstration in Progress" Security men stand outside the door.
